A bit about me

Born into a family with a Broadway Publicist and a CBS News Director, public relations is in my DNA. Throughout my career, I’ve launched and expanded brands and product lines, planned and marketed events, and managed ongoing strategic public relations and social media marketing campaigns on an international, national and local level.

With broad experience across industry sectors, I specialize in generating top-tier media coverage by mining and telling compelling stories to the press at the opportune time.

My experience working in newsrooms alongside journalists gives me a keen eye for what generates media coverage for our clients.

What I’m passionate about at work

As a former newsroom publicist and self-proclaimed news junkie, I love the ability to identify and shape national news and trends for our clients.

A favorite professional moment

Hiring a helicopter to fly journalists from the Associated Press and Newsweek around the Statue of Liberty in commemoration of the end of WWII.

A favorite memory at CS-Effect

Having NBC News broadcast live from Millennium Park for Chicago’s first downtown NASCAR race.

My favorite things to do outside of work

I love traveling to warm-weather hotspots, especially during the cold Chicago winter, gardening, cooking, and going to baseball games with my family.

A quote that inspires me

"There is only one thing in life worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about.” – Oscar Wilde
