A bit about me

A television show, Scandal, was my first introduction to the world of public relations. As a 16-year-old unsure about my future path, it was inspiring to watch a powerful Black woman like Olivia Pope navigate the different facets of PR. Pope's fictional journey, combined with my genuine passion for writing, led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in public relations at DePaul University. After graduating, my zeal for media relations began to take root while working at Northeastern University and securing national media coverage. In my role today, I leverage my experiences and passions to maneuver through an ever-changing PR landscape, just like Olivia Pope.

What I’m passionate about at work

I believe storytelling is a transformative tool, and I’m passionate about using that tool to make meaningful change.

A favorite memory at CS-Effect

While my work at CS-Effect has just begun, I look forward to collaborating with our influential clients and the valuable learning experiences this role will bring!

My favorite things to do outside of work

Over the past year, I’ve delved into cooking more! I’m a huge fan of finding new recipes on social media and seeing how well I can execute them. I also love to read mystery and romance novels in my free time. My favorite book I’ve read recently has to be The It Girl by Ruth Ware.
